The recent flooding that is taking place in our state and surrounding region is devastating. As the floodwaters recede, we want to be ready to serve those affected by cleaning out homes that were flooded and supplying aid items to the proper local distribution centers. Give Financially – Online or at a Lifegate Campus
We have set up a Disaster Relief Fund to directly help those affected by the floods. You can give online on our Giving Page by designating “Disaster Relief” under the Outreach section. You can also drop off financial gifts at Lifegate’s campuses during normal office hours. For a list of normal office hours, please scroll to the bottom of this page.
Donate Gift Cards to Directly Help Affected Homeowners
Giftcards clearly marked with amounts can be donated at the front desk at all of our campuses during normal operating hours. For a list of normal office hours, please scroll to the bottom of this page. Some suggestions are: Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, HyVee, Bakers, Target, Walmart, Visa Gift Cards & Gas Cards. Lifegate will distribute these directly to families we assist who are affected by flooding.
Donate Relief Supplies
At this time Lifegate is no longer accepting donated supplies. These type of items can be taken to other distribution centers throughout the area.
Beyond all of our physical efforts, our prayers are powerful and effective!
It is essential that we cover the victims of this flood as well as our first responders and volunteers in prayer that God would turn this terrible disaster into something good and protect lives and families in all of this. An easy way to remember to pray is to include the flood in your prayers at each meal time. Look for opportunities to pray in small groups with your friends, family or Lifegroup – God hears our prayers!
