P. Les Gives Mask Mandate Update

Hey Lifegate family! As new regulations arise, we as a church body want to comply with these changes. Starting this weekend through September 15, everyone age five and up is required to wear a face mask when entering our Douglas County campuses: West Dodge & Midtown. We honor the authority of our city’s leadership and will abide by the mask mandate in Douglas County.

Watch the video below as Pastor Les explains what this will look like moving forward.

We will be practicing social distancing in our sanctuaries so once you take your seat you may remove your mask if you feel comfortable doing so.

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” – Ephesians 4:2 (NIV)

Lifegate Kids is returning August 1st & 2nd!

We are so excited to have Lifegate Kids meeting in-person again beginning August 1-2, during all of our normal service times! However, we recognize that kids will not easily adhere to the concept of social distancing. We wanted to let you know some of the ways we are doing our best to ensure the safety and health of your child during the services at Lifegate Church.

  • We will be generous with smiles, but discourage hugs, handshakes, touching.
  • Touchless check-in and hand sanitizing stations throughout the building.
  • Only one parent will be allowed at drop-off and pick-up.
  • All children will have a temperature check prior to entering the room. Any temp greater than 100.4 will not be allowed in the room.
  • Increasing our cleaning protocols before, during and after our Sunday services.
  • Normal wellness policy, zero tolerance for symptoms that are observed.
  • Toys, crayons and markers will be changed out each service; Hand sanitizer readily available for shared games that cannot be moved. Crafts will be socially distanced.
  • Not providing snack for early childhood classes at this time.
  • Seating in elementary sanctuary will be spaced apart for social distancing.
  • No Exchange Store to avoid the exchanging of money, contact on gumball machine, etc.

This has been a long season (thanks for sticking it out with us). We’ve been praying for your families and we can hardly wait to see you back! We love partnering with you! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to your Campus Kids Pastor.
