In 2011, God called Lifegate to become “One Church in Two Locations” and this would lead to the birth of Lifegate Papillion. Originally a bookstore, the building was purchased in December of 2011 and renovated throughout 2012. On January 13, 2013 Lifegate Papillion officially opened its doors and Papillion Mayor David Black declared: “Lifegate Papillion, welcome home!”

When I arrived, I was greeted with smiling faces, warm greetings, and hand shakes. It felt like home should feel like.
I didn't understand the peaceful feeling I had when I first came through the doors at Lifegate Papillion. I later realized it was God himself, reaching out to me through the loving people there.
Lifegate Papillon has brought me closer to people and closer to Jesus. I have learned that the local church needs me and I desperately need it to seek Jesus and serve alongside other men and women who are also desperate for Jesus.
I felt at home in my first visit to Lifegate that I knew I found the new church for my family. In the past year the Lord has really worked wonders in my marriage, we have grown stronger as a couple and a family.
One of the things I love about Lifegate Papillion is the feeling of family. The people here truly love and care about everyone...they are the hands and feet, the words, and the heart of Jesus; I am honored and blessed to be part of this family.
After coming for a few years, I have never been talked down, preached at, or felt less than. After being a volunteer, hosting our Lifegroup, and serving without expecting anything in return, I feel ownership at Papillion.
